The wiring loom is as bad as everything you had heard

Cordless power tools don't last long enough on one charge

Buy lot's of tape, P clips , self tappers, 3.2 drills and rivet's

Petrol and brake fluid both sting your eyes !

The dog/cat / small child, will find any wet paint.

There are a lot of holes to fill with silicon...
